In 1960 came a great earthquake that struck the city of Valdivia and surroundings , this caused a great flood in the Pellaifa field , forming beautiful Lake Pellaifa . With the passage of time began to appear the hot springs in different sectors of the place, surrounded by a lovely setting and a unique natural environment. During that time, the place was used and enjoyed by a convent of Catholic sisters who provided services to the community.
In 1990 the thermal resort "Eco Termas Pellaifa" was born. Starting only with a thermal pool of 200 cubic meters. As the years passed, have been incorporating new thermal pools with different temperatures ranging between 35 ? and 43 ? C. Besides incorporating a mud pool that lies in the eye of thermal water.
At present, the thermal resort "Eco Termas Pellaifa" has cottages for 5, 6 and 7 persons and are totally equiped, also has a picnic area has tables and grills which allow you to enjoy a nice "roast the post". And for those who come to "Eco Termas Pellaifa" in winter season we offer a roofed enclosure for do your barbecue with more comfort and safety.
In the summer season we have a Restaurant which serves homemade and typical food of the area, among which we find: grilled lamb casserole, roast boar, roast chicken, "sopaipillas", "pebre" kneading bread, omelets, among others.
Our thermal center not only has swimming pools, but also with out door activities for you to enjoy a unique view. Here you can perform activities such as Canopy, Hiking, Horseback Riding, Road of Honey, Kayak and Educational Farm.
Relax in one of our four cottages fully equipped for up to five persons. They have all the amenities for a pleasant stay.
At our cottages we have: Two bedrooms, bathroom, living room, kitchen, refrigerator and heating.
Enjoy a healthy and relaxing in our hot springs experience.
We have for you a pool with temperature natural and other with hot springs. You can also enjoy our thermal mud pool and bathtub.
The water temperature varies between 35 and 40 degrees, perfect for therapy, rest and tranquility.

Here you can have breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner and barbecues to enjoy the exquisite flavors of Southern Chile.
